Call for Research Presentations: Submission of Abstracts

The McKenzie Institute Americas Region Program Committee invites the submission of abstracts of recent and original research related to Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. Submissions will be reviewed and selected based on the quality of the project, the relevance to MDT of the spine and extremities, and as it related to the themes of our conference.

Abstracts may be submitted for consideration as either a poster or podium presentation:

1. Platform Presentations are 10-minute presentations at the podium during General Sessions and four slots are available.
2. Poster Presentations provide brief written statements and graphic materials, such as photographs, charts, graphs, and/or diagrams mounted on a posterboard measuring no more than four (4) feet high by eight (8) feet wide.
   • Posters will be displayed Friday - Sunday in Exhibit Area. Corkboards will be provided.

The Platform Presenters and Poster Representative(s) must register for the conference; and a reduced registration rate will be offered.

Timeline:

• Deadline for Receipt was March 31, 2016.
• Notification of acceptance/rejection will be sent out May 1, 2016.

The abstract should be presented using the following headings:

• Study Design
• Objectives
• Summary of Background Data
• Methods
• Results
• Conclusions
