MICANADA PRO & PLUS PLANS

Clinicians that have previously taken courses with McKenzie Institute Canada or another branch of the institute, and are residing and practicing in Canada are considered to be members of the McKenzie Institute Canada branch.  To provide each member level with access to savings and additional training opportunities, we have designed two distinct member enhancement plans, the MICanada PRO Plan and the MICanada PLUS Plan.

The MICanada PRO Plan is designed specifically for Diploma or Credentialled MDT clinicians.  In addition to savings and additional training opportunities, it includes marketing tools to assist with the promotion of their qualifications.  Benefits of the PRO PLAN do vary for clinicians that are CCESS compliant and those that are not.  To verify your CCES compliancy status, please go to VIEW PROFILE after logging on to the MICanada website or review the terms of the MDT CCES Policy ( MDT Certification Continuing Education Standards).

The MICanada PLUS Plan is designed for clinicians that have completed levels A through D (plus Adv. Extremities if applicable), but have not yet Credentialled.   This plan provides the clinicians progressing through the certification program with added savings and training opportunities.  The MICanada PLUS Plan benefits increase and vary with each level. The savings benefits of this plan are only applicable on new course registrations and cannot be combined with any pre-existing discount plan previously offered. The MICanada PLUS PLAN will commence in July 2020.

The McKenzie Case Manager Course Volumes provide web-based instruction designed for the advanced McKenzie MDT clinician. These courses present complex clinical practice scenarios through a collection of cases that will add to your patient experience base and help you focus on the power of utilizing the information gathered on The McKenzie Institute Assessment forms to lead to patient classification and management strategies. Each Case Manager Course Volume consists of eight (8) individual cases. Through the analysis of all case studies, registrants will improve their clinical decision making as related to the application of MDT to patients presenting with cervical, lumbar and extremity problems. Each case, in all volumes utilize interactive McKenzie Assessment Forms throughout. The cases presented were taken from actual patients seen by senior instructors of The McKenzie Institute. Completion of a Case Manager Course Volume counts towards your MDT CERTIFICATION CONTINUING EDUCATION STANDARDS Policy(CCES)  If you are currently compliant, completing a Case Manager Course Volume will update your CCES referral status and you will remain on the McKenzie Provider listing for another 3 years from the date of completion.
