This course is CONFIRMED. The MDT approach is a comprehensive biopsychosocial classification system that provides clinicians with the tools necessary to accurately determine the most appropriate and effective course of treatment for their patients, subsequently improving their patient outcomes. Approximately 4 or 5 lumbar patients will be assessed and treated by the instructor during this course. Legitimate patients, displaying symptoms, are selected by the hosting clinic allowing you an opportunity to see the benefits of the MDT approach first-hand. Patients return for a follow-up appointment before the end of the course. This course includes a pre-requisite web-based training component and 3 days in-class training. The online component will take about 5 hours to complete. The schedule for the course is: Fri/ 10.00am - 7.00pm, Sat/ 8.15am - 5.30pm, Sun/ 8.15am - 3.30pm

Eligibility: PT’s, PT Students – Final Year. Other health professionals, please check the eligibility requirements posted on our website. Refreshments breaks are provided throughout the course. Lunch will be on your own. A course manual is included in the course fee. The course manual includes all of the material covered during the course. Additionally, there is also a full text book available for purchase. The course manual/content is based on the textbook, The Lumbar Spine Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy (M.D.T.) by Robin McKenzie.
