Schedule and Other Important Information

Join Bonny O'Hare, PT, for the upcoming webinar titled: "Building Expertise in Osteoporosis: Expanding the MDT Clinician's Skill Set".

Date: 29 NOV, 2026
Duration: 1 hour
Time: 6:00 am PT / 7:00am MT/ 8:00am CT / 9:00am ET / 10:00am AT / 10:30am NT

During this webinar, Bonny will review the research behind her recently published article in Osteoporosis International titled: The Role of Physical Performance Measures in the Physiotherapy Assessment and Management of Older Adults with Osteoporotic Vertebral Fractures: A Narrative Review.

The review provides guidance on the physical assessment and management of older adults with osteoporotic vertebral fractures (OVFs), the most common major osteoporotic fracture. Exercise interventions for osteoporosis should be individually prescribed using evidence-based assessment, with consideration of previous fractures, physical performance, and co-existing medical conditions.

The webinar will also highlight recent evidence on screening for osteoporotic vertebral fractures, helping clinicians recognize when a vertebral fracture may be present and identify individuals who may benefit from further investigation.
