Function First is a small, private physical rehabilitation clinic currently offering physiotherapy and registered massage therapy, located in busy North-West London. The clinic is managed and operated by a physiotherapist (who is working towards her McKenzie credentialing) and registered massage therapist.
We are looking for a motivated registered physiotherapist to join our team starting by early January 2018. The caseload will start as part-time, with the ability to expand to full-time hours if desired. Permanent contract for a commissioned independent contractor on a competitive split. There is opportunity to expand entrepreneurial skills through marketing and networking opportunities in the community as well, if desired.
Our ideal candidate:
- Registered with the Ontario College of Physiotherapists and in good standing
- Seeking job satisfaction working as part of a team with an emphasis on evidence-based and client-centred approach to care, creating individualized treatment plans emphasizing progress towards client’s functional goals
- Relationship-centred practitioner who values the therapeutic alliance
- A self-starter with a desire to excel, motivated to commit to ongoing education, and building a sustainable caseload
- Good time management, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience working with MVA and WSIB clients an asset
- Any level of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment (McKenzie) training an asset

"Get Fit Physio – Physio Mise En Forme" is a physiotherapy clinic with branches in Montreal (QC) and in Longueuil (QC). It is one of only 2 McKenzie Certified clinics in Québec. We are looking to hire a physiotherapist that wants to grow professionally and use MDT at the highest level. We currently have 2 MDT Diplomats & 1 soon-to-be Diplomat.
We offer short-term coaching and long-term mentorship for new staff. Our clientele is people of all ages with MSK problems.
Hours: would initially be part-time (15 hrs/week or more) and could eventually be full time (35 hours/week or more). Exact days and hours is flexible.
Locations: Montreal and/or South-Shore branches.
Required: fluent in written and spoken English and French, has taken McKenzie Part A – D courses or more, and is motivated to continue growing as an MDT therapist.
